To celebrate the launch of our online store we got together with resident YouTuber Sportilium to offer an introductory discount when you shop online. Cycle Works also provided a prize to give away to one lucky winner who takes part in the Sportilium Virtual Ride Day – an event being held to celebrate reaching 1,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

In this time of Covid-19 uncertainty organising something as simple as a group ride day simply wasn’t feasible or worth the hassle. Events over the past year-and-a-half have been cancelled at the drop of a hat and so the idea of organising a ‘virtual’ ride seems like a great alternative.

The concept is simple and doesn’t require large groups of riders to congregate or travel vast distances. The other advantage is that if you live interstate or overseas you can still participate.

All you need to do, using the link provided, is to submit your basic details along with a short 2–10 second video (no larger than 100MB) of yourself or of you and your mates. Submissions will close once 1,000 subscribers is reached (but no later than 11:59pm Sunday, 29 August).

One lucky participant will win a Cycle Works t-shirt and a pair of 100percent Gloves.
